“Shadowork” is a multidisciplinary exploration of identity, transformation, and feminine form. Through a five-paneled acrylic painting series using only black, white, and colored pencil on recycled ceiling tiles, I explore the tension between shadow and light, control and freedom. My figures fluid, mythological, and archetypal move through space like thread through fabric, embodying sirens, aliens, and dreamlike beings. Influenced by fashion design and performance, this body of work channels the structural beauty of designers like McQueen and Miyake. Rooted in shadow work and personal mythology, my practice is a nonlinear spiral of grief, play, and release.
